From Milton Keynes RPG Club
Jump to navigation Jump to search

There will be no experience points awarded in this game. Instead, points for player contributions will be awarded at the end of each ten months of real time. If you fall behind in your contribution promise, your PC will begin to fall into Bad Stuff, at the rate of one point per month.

Thread Diary

Bonus: 10 Points (Required - Automatic)

The Thread Diary is just the musings and thoughts of your character within the overall narrative of your story. Part of the advantage of the written word is that readers get to see what is going on in the head of your character. Take advantage of the opportunity.

It is not possible to take the regular PC diary for this campaign. (I find they don’t work well with an on-line format.)

Encyclopaedia

Bonus: 10 Points (Required - Automatic)

I request that players keep an up-to-date encyclopaedia for new people, places and artefacts that come up in their threads.

Trump Art

Bonus: 10 Points

Artwork created for a place, person or artefact in your thread. One piece of art is expected per month. Each piece of art is worth 1 point, and the GM’s gratitude.

Hand Drawn Art

Bonus: 20 Points

Artwork created for a place, person or artefact in your thread. One piece of art is expected per month. Each piece of art is worth 2 points per month, and the GM’s gratitude.

Short Stories

Bonus: 10 to 20 Points

A short story or chapter about your character, due each month. Each 1000 words is worth 1 point per month, 2000 words a month is a possibility. Short stories will be used by me to help flesh out your PC’s plot-line.

One Off Contributions

Bonus: 10 Points

These are projects I would love for someone to complete, if you have skills in mapping and design. The completion of any of these projects will lead to an immediate point increase in your PC.
