Earthdawn

Earthdawn is a roleplaying game set in a world of high adventure, high magic, and terrible danger. Set on Earth in an unknown age, in Earthdawn characters are adventurers in a world which has recently returned to the surface after spending centuries in exile underground as ghastly horrors from unspeakable realms savaged the land above.

It had been determined that the high level of magic was the catalyst that brought the Horrors to our world. So in each kear they would monitor the level of magic so that once it had dropped enough everyone would leave and repopulate the world. So that time has finally arrived and you as a band of keen adventurers are going outside to forge your legend and make a name for yourselves.

Earthdawn characters are beings with their own magical talents and mundane skills. They set out to become famous and help rid the world of the last remaining horror constructs and make the world a better place.
