The desert is a difficult place to go through. People are mean. Of course the terrain is harsh but by all that is Holy the critters are terrible.

You are trying to survive in a Wild West unlike anything you've ever seen. The people are virtually the same, small minded morons. But the biggest change is the land and the things that live off of it.
